Tuition and Financing at Waimea Country School
Annual tuition for the 2011/2012 Academic
Year is $8,600.
Tuition for the 2012/2013 Academic Year
will be set by the Waimea Country School Board of Trustees in Janaury
2012.
We are committed to making Waimea Country School affordable for every child who wants to attend, regardless of financial circumstance. To meet this challenge, we work hard to contain costs, and we actively seek revenue from non-tuition sources. Even so, the cost of a Waimea Country School education is a challenge for some families, so we offer financial aid on the basis of demonstrated need for those who qualify.
Student Financial Aid Program
In the 2011/2012 school year, approximately
50% of our students received financial aid, and for many families, applying
for aid is just another step in the process of applying for school. Our
Student Financial Aid Program is designed to bridge the gap between what
a family can afford and what it actually costs to attend Waimea Country
School. We are committed to enrolling a student body that reflects the
social and economic diversity of families living and working in the North
Hawai‘i
region, and we believe that the cost of a Waimea Country School education
should not be a deterrent to prospective families.
